FAQ Momence
We have switched from Eversports to Momence. Below, we answer the most frequently asked questions. If your question is not listed, please contact us at info@theworkoutlab.nl.
You’re moving to Momence. What does this mean for me?
We’ll soon be switching from Eversports to Momence. This means we’ll be using a new booking system and a new app.
I have a membership at The Workout Lab. Do I re-enter my payment details?
Yes, please re-enter your payment details so you can continue booking with us.
Please note that this can only be done via web browser, so not via the app.
- Go to www.momence.com and log in with your account details;
- Access your profile by clicking the person icon in the top right corner → My Account → save SEPA Direct Debit;
- Enter your bank account number and save the changes.
I’ve already used Momence for another studio. How do I change my payment details to The Workout Lab?
Please note that this can only be done via web browser, so not via the app.
- Go to www.momence.com and log in with your account details;
- Access your profile by clicking the person icon in the top right corner → My Account → update SEPA Direct Debit;
- Select The Workout Lab from the drop down menu and save the changes.
I’ve updated my payment details, but don’t see this reflected in the app.
Please note that once you have added your SEPA payment method, it will not be visible in the app. This feature is not yet supported by Momence, and we have provided feedback to encourage its implementation.
I already had the Momence app for another studio. How can I book classes at The Workout Lab?
Open the Momence app → go to your account → App Settings → Add Host → search for The Workout Lab → Save → Continue.
Will the prices stay the same?
Yes, all prices will remain unchanged.
I have outstanding credits or I have a membership. Will I keep my credits or current membership?
Yes, absolutely. All active products on your account, including your credits or active memberships, will automatically be transferred to Momence, including the current term and end date.
Can I still log in to Eversports after the switch?
After the switch, we will work entirely in Momence and Eversports will no longer be needed for booking classes.
What if something is incorrect in my account?
If you notice after the switch that something is incorrect, such as your credits or bookings, please let us know and we’ll help you as quickly as possible.
How can I receive invoices for purchases if I can no longer log in to Eversports after May 27?
If you need invoices for previous purchases but can no longer log in to Eversports after May 27, please contact Eversports directly via help@eversports.com. They will be able to provide you with the necessary invoices.
Why does the Momence calendar look different?
The Momence app displays the week from Sunday to Monday instead of Monday to Sunday. Please keep this in mind when booking your classes.
Are there any changes in your late cancel and no show policy?
Yes, from now on, a €10 fee applies for no-shows, and starting from your third late cancellation within a calendar month, a €10 fee will be charged per late cancel.
Why we’re introducing this: when you don’t show up, your spot stays reserved while someone else could have used it. We totally understand that life happens, which is why we offer 2 free late cancellations each month so your spot can still be released and someone else can join the class.
I have an unlimited membership. Why can I only book 1 class per day?
We understand this change may feel frustrating, but we believe it creates a fairer and better experience for the entire community.
- Fairer class distribution gives all members better access;
- Fewer waitlists and less frustration for popular classes;
- Encourages mindful booking and reduces no-shows / last-minute cancellations;
- Fits a community-driven gym where everyone has an equal chance to train;
One check-in per day still allows for extensive use of the membership, with 30–31 check-ins per month. This brings the cost to approximately €2.40–€2.70 per check-in. This still is a very low rate for a group class.
